SELF-TEST RCCB NATIONWIDE SAFETY CAMPAIGN

TEEAM continues to pro-actively raise awareness among the general public on the need for regular self-testing of RCCBs. Since 2014, nineteen nationwide TEEAM Safety Awareness Roadshows have been conducted in shopping malls, campuses and also in residential areas. TEEAM will continue efforts to pro-actively promote and spread the message regarding electrical safety, to the general public.

Over the past two years of roadshows, TEEAM received the most overwhelming response for the national campaign on Self-Test Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB) from the Ipoh Station in 2015. TEEAM conducted another roadshow in Ipoh this year to create more awareness and brief the public on the importance of Self-Test RCCB at home.

電業公會推展安全運動‧促用戶自測漏電斷路器

（吉隆坡10日訊）馬來西亞電業公會展開"全國自測漏電斷路器（RCCB）"安全運動，提高公眾對於自行測試漏電斷路器的醒覺意識。

這項安全運動從即日起至2015年4月30日進行，為期10個月，包括通過各種活動如公益廣告、示範宣傳、展覽會、攝影競賽、設立專門網站並提供熱線服務和社交媒體，提高大眾的醒覺意識。

去年共46宗用电意外 37%肇事用户电气维修不足

（吉隆坡10日讯）大马能源委员会总执行长拿督阿末法兹指出，2013年的用电意外事件总数为46宗，相比2006年的79宗下降了42%。

"全国用电用户总人数从2006年的680万户增加至843万户，而用电意外事件总数则出现大幅下降，这事情非常令人鼓舞。"

KUALA LUMPUR: The sale of external residual-current circuit breakers (RCCBs) with a current sensitivity of 10 milliampere (mA) has increased by 50 per cent since last September

Electrical and Electronics Association of Malaysia (Teeam) president Chew Shee Fuee said about 20,000 units of the 10mA RCCB were sold since September.
